Universal Helmet Mount

This new Northern Diver design is a universal helmet mount fits many torches and dive lights and boasts a variable turn and tilt function. It's quick and simple to use, allowing you to attach a torch to your helmet so you can see and light the way from your own point of view. Designed in the UK, this helmet mount is lightweight and extremely easy to use and attach.

Compatible with all Northern Diver torches and a multitude of others, the Universal Helmet Mount was designed to illuminate your dives while keeping you hands free. It can be easily affixed to the helmet of your choice. A generous, curved base clip for your torch accompanies the durable base and two cable ties to finalise the torch mounting.

Northern Diver's Universal Helmet Mount works with 5 different ND dive lights, torches and flashlights; including the Varilux Tec, Varilux Travel II, Varilux Micro, Fusion X4 and the Mini Quest.

The Swivel Mount means that adjusting the angle of your torch and therefore the beam, is easy. The Universal Helmet Mount is an incredibly versatile side helmet-mounting solution. It offers maximum adjustability to provide a huge variety of lighting angles on your dive. Used alongside something like the Paralenz® camera, this could easily provide versatility of shots and capture angles.

Whether you're mountain biking, climbing or hitting the slopes, use the Universal Helmet Mount to attach a light source securely to your safety helmet to ensure you have maximum visibility, no matter what extreme sport you take part in. This helmet mount is fully adjustable too, meaning you can tilt and rotate the torch to a number of angles to light your way or that of the diver behind you.

What's the helmet mount made from?

The mount bracket base is made of injection moulded plastic with an anti-slip textured design. The helmet mount itself is made of sturdy, heavy duty plastic. With marine-grade 316 stainless steel hardware, Teflon coated attachment screws for a secure grip, and an integrated Allen-key, it's built to last.

The low-profile design reduces the likelihood of entanglement. The anti-slip design ensures a stable mount with adjustable angles and even after installation, you get easy access to your mounted torch. Easy to install and attach.

Can I recharge my torch without removing it from the mount?

Yes you can, you don't need to remove the torch from the Universal Helmet Mount in order to recharge your torch. If it's a Northern Diver Varilux dive light you're using with your mount, you can simply remove the batteries from the end cap and recharge them without touching the cable tie fixing.

To remove your mounted torch you'll need to break the cable ties. This means they'll need to be replaced with new ties if you remove it or wish to swap out your torch.

If you pull the cable ties loose, they might not keep your items secure on future dives.

Please note: We always advise you select a helmet that meets the applicable safety standard when you use a helmet with our Universal Helmet Mount. Always follow the helmet manufacturer's instructions on safe helmet use.

We have not tested the safety of this product. You decide what and how you attach extra elements to your safety equipment, and need to consider the effects this might have to your safety.

Collect In Store?

When you go to the online checkout, you can opt to collect your items in store. We'll let you know when your order is ready for you to collect. Your order will normally be ready to collect the next working day.

Returns, refunds or exchanges?

You can return any item within 28 days of receipt for a refund, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging and in 'as new' condition.

Items will be refunded in full (less postage) if received within 28 days from the date of despatch.

We aim to deal with all returns and exchanges on the day they arrive, however please allow longer during peak periods.

You can return the item(s) by dropping them off in store or by returning the item(s) by post. We do not insist on a specific courier service for the return, so please use the most economical or appropriate method for returning the item(s).
